Using IE4N in MDG EAM Extension by Utopia

Hi,

I am working on installation / dismantling of split valuated and serialised rotable material.

We have S/4HANA 2020 and MDG EAM Extension by Utopia in hub deployment mode and the equipment creation / change is allowed only from the MDG side.

I have seen many SAP help document indicating that the transaction IE4N is supported in MDG EAM which enables installation / dismantling with goods movement.

Can we execute IE4N transaction in MDG EAM Extension of Utopia?

Is there and document available explaining how installation / dismantling of serialised and split valuated material should be managed using MDG EAM?

Please note that MDG EAM product support IE 4N Functionality Via MDG EAM product and also product support handling of split valuated serial numbers ,

Refer the attached configuration document to set up your system and you can get IE4N features for co-deployed and Hub system.

Search Equipment --> Select equipment to do Install/Dismantle/exchange --> Based on status of equipment A separate POPUP for IE4N would be available and the same changes can be pushed to a Change request type EAM or AIW.

Also comes with few restrictions refer restriction note for the same. https://me.sap.com/notes/2980080/E.

Please note that mass changes to multiple equipment using IE4N not supported.
