User decisionXXXXX has not alternative index/ ESSMSS

Dears,

Am facing issue in leave approval in MSS screen, Employee requested for a annual leave. the workflow triggers and it reaches manager powl list in MSS. Manager opens the link from powl and when he tries to approve the leave request , am receiving a message

" User decisionXXXXX has not alternative index 000 ".

But the same leave approval i tried to approve from the sap inbox, it is successfully approved.

Why cant am unable to approve from ESS/MSS portal.

i have taken copy of the standard wflow and made some custom user decision. Just FYI.

Hello Murali,

Looks like some where with in the execution process developer might have used SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE Function module to complete the decision step. To this function module I think if I remember correctly for approval the index would be Approve - 0001 and for reject -0002 . So correct this value and check it should work.
