HI All,
Based on a bex query I have an universe with few variables and attributes , but when i create WEBI report i am unable to find the varaibles and attributes to be restricted .
I can see them at universe level
Thanks All.
Hi Naiduz,
Which version of BO are you using?
In BO 4.0, You see variables in Yellow Filter symbol as conditionals at the end of every class after Dimension, or Measure objects.
In Earlier version, You should change the Option (Radio button type) at the bottom left of the objects explorer window to Conditionals to View them. You can only view either Objects or Conditionals under respective classes.
These Conditionals are predefined filters and if you double click, it automatically go to "Query filter" section whereas Other Dimension/Measure objects go to "Result Objects" section.
Hope this answer helps.

Hi,
All the variables(ready for input) can be seen at universe level and will come as prompts when the WEBi report is executed.
For attributes, you will have to drag them in the query panel , to use it for restrictions.
Thanks,
Vinay

Hi,
Whatever variable you have created in bex, these will be available as a prompt in BO Webi.
If the attribute is available at universe level, it should be available in query panel of Webi Report. Please check this in query panel.
Thanks
Suresh
