all of a sudden i am unable to modify or create reports. As soon as i try BO locks, no error, and only way to shut it down is via task manager
I am able to open and run an existing report but that's about it
Our IT Support has tried everything, reinstalling, checking the BOMain Product key, access rights, unfortunately to no avail
I've had this software nearly 10 years and no probs until now
any advice would be greatly appreciated
I don't have an answer for you, but some thoughts and suggestions.
BOE 6.5 is nearly 20 years old, and definitely not supported on newer versions of Windows.
I am guessing that you're hitting compatibility issue with a driver and a recent Windows update, but it could be almost anything. You could try reverting recent updates, but of course that could be a very bad idea.
The best solution would be to get the reports converted to WebI and use a current version of BO.
