TREX Initial Index - Connector AI_CM_TRANSPORT_OBJ

Hi,

I'm facing an issue trying to do the Initial Index for connector AI_CM_TRANSPORT_OBJ regard the Change Control Management scenario. The error log have a message like this:

TREX_RFC_OPTIMIZE rc: 2982 (A communication error occured, with the TREX TcpIp Server;location=xxxxxxx1:30103).

Any thoughts?

Hi Juan.

SAP & Trex installation are in the same network or different location? is this any network issues?

Could you check the backend SAP system RFC connection to Trex?

Hi Sriram,

The initial index was too heavy, I solved it with the workaround mention in SAP Note "2556476 - Change Request Management: SQL error on the search models AI_CM_TRANSPORT_REQ and AI_CM_TRANSPORT_OBJ during TREX indexing".
