Transformation Error while improting transformation in Quality

Hi Experts,

I am facing an error while importing the Transformation TR in Quality. Error is below.

Hi Ananth,

It looks like there is an inconsistency in the Dev and QA systems (and potentially Prd). What version of BW are you on and patch level? Do you have access to SAP Notes?

Did you resolve this? In your error it says the following which is relevant;

Syntax error in GP_ERR_RSSG_METACLASS, row 958 (-> long text)
Error during generation
Error when activating Transformation 0NAY00NGLYTJV7XEJJEFF9Y7RF68S9SJ

In the OSS note i gave, it specifys that irt fixes the above GP_ERR_RSSG_METACLASS.

When generating the template 'RSTRAN_SECTIONS_GEN_1', the system may issue the error

• Type 'TY_S_SECTION' is unknown

when generating the meta class in the program 'GP_ERR_RSSG_METACLASS'.

So please look at the OSS note 1325124 and see if it is relevant (for your release) to apply the correction.

Hi Geoff,

Issue was not yet solved. As per your note, I installed note in Dev, its installed. I transported to qlty,

When i import to qlty, it was given errors. below are the errors.

Generation of the transported programs

Program CL_RSTRAN_GEN=================CP, Include CL_RSTRAN_GEN=================CM00A: Syntax error in line 000087

Formal parameter 'I_PARAMID' does not exist. exist.

Database COMMIT executed

Please help me.

Hi Ananth,

What is your transformation mapping for the field 0recordmode?

Might be unmapped for this field. If so, map this field to a source field.

I hope this Transformation is between two DSOs. Get into the change mode of your transformation. Click on Rule Group-->Technical  Group --> You need to map both 0recordmode to each other as direct assignment.. Save this and move this new saved version of Transformation to the target system

I my transformations is between 0PS_DAT_WBS ---> ZPS_OWBS. generic DSO. my data source is not a Delta compatible. how should i map 0recordmode.

In Dev it working fine, there is no errors.

I am facing this issue while importing Transformation TR.

Please tell me the solution for the same.

Did you check the mapping of 0recordmode?

Keep the Rule type as Constant for 0recordmode. Do not keep any value in Constant Value
