Hi Experts,
Did any body fell into this problem of not fetching BAPIs/RFCs from the SAP ERP system while connecting to that system via VPN?
The ping to ERP Server is successful and it successfully connects to the server also but when i try to create an MBO over a BAPI/RFC it won't fetch any BAPI.
However, I am successfully fetching the BAPIs/RFCs from another ERP system without connecting through VPN, a direct connection.
I also confirmed that user also has the required rights in ERP system as I am successfully viewing/creating/updating BAPIs/RFCs after connecting to same system via SAP Logon Client with same VPN connection.
What could be the possible causes?
Following is the error in the Console Log

Any help will be highly appreciated.
Hi,
I've had the same problem with Sybase Unwired WorkSpace 2.2.
Connection was established (Ping successful), but no BAPI repository and no RFC could have been found. I solved the problem by changing the login language from EN (default) to DE in SAP Connection Properties Page -> Advanced Properties Tab.

hi Umar,
After connecting to VPN, could you pelase check whether security Ports and SAP ERP system Ports are opened or not?

Problem is solved with the help of our BASIS Guy.
I passed following information to him.
1- http://scn.sap.com/thread/2047238
2-
- Open Workbench with run as Administrator
- Disable UAC
- Check your proxy settings if available
3- access to the HTTP or HTTPs port using this VPN, to see the right ports go to transaction SMICM--> Goto--> Services.
