Hi.
i'm trying to stop a job that is turning slow the sytm in miniSAP 4.6D, when i go to the Job Admin transaction and try to stop the job,it shows me a message "Job YYYYYYY is not active - cancellation not possible!" but the job is showed with the status "Active". What can i do for stop it ? there is other way for do it ?
thanks.
Hi Armando,
Try going to SM51 and stop background process that is running this job. I am suggesting you this because it is a miniSAP, never try this on a productive SAP.

Sanjeev

Hello Armando,
Most likely the job status is incorrect. In SM37 select the job. In the menu, choose 'Job'-> 'Check status'. The job status should now show the correct status (likely a red canceled or failed status).
If the job is really running, you should see it occupying one of the background work processes. In this case you can cancel the associated BGD process in SM50 with 'Cancel without core'.

Nathan
