STC01 - Activation /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/any failed. Reason: Service not available

Hello,

I want to activate in TA STC01 - Tasklist SAP_FIORI_FCM_CONTENT_ACTIVATION a ZRole and get at the end the error:

"Service: /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/any failed. Reason: Service not available
For detailed analysis activate failed service manually with transaction SICF"

When I have a look in SICF, this service could not be found? Has someone an idea to solve this issue?

Hi Werner,

That typically means the Webdispatcher isn't fully configured for the webdynpro paths.

See KBA 2740052 - Which paths are necessary to configure Web Dispatcher for Fiori Launchpad scenarios?

Add this path to the WDP profile and the error should clear

/sap/bc/webdynpro

Other answer from incident was:

Please do not select the both roles Z_FLP_ADMIN, Z_FLP_USER from custom activation through SAP_FIORI_FCM_CONTENT_ACTIVATION.

It contains a placeholder for Easy Access Menu configuration (/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/any) that doesnotexists and should also not be created.

The configuration is changed withOP2023 to not use any longer the responsible * /UI2/CLASSICAL_GUI_MENU.

Other services are successful activated that you can skip the files task (stc02 - edit - uncheck first * and continue the run.

Hello,

open path in SICF --> right click on SAP --> add NEW SUBELEMENT --> select as Standalone Service --> save and activate service. This solved my issue
