SRM Vendor Evaluation in BW (DSO 0SE_VE, Cube 0SR_VE_C1)

Hi,

We want to evaluate SRM 5.0 vendor evaluation in BW 701. The Master data / Transactional data come from SRM. Grouping / Weighting (SRM_VE_GROUPING / SRM_VE_WEIGHTING) will be done in BW.

We have activated Business Content DSO 0SE_VE (Vendor Evaluation) and InfoCube 0SR_VE_C1 (Weighted Valuations). All Objects (Update Rules, Transfer Rules, Transformation etc.) have been activated. We need actually only 7.0 Objects (for ex. Transformation).

Question: Do I need InfoSource 0WS_DATA_1 to load the data from DataSource 0WS_DATA_1 into DSO 0SE_VE?

Furthermore I have seen the fields of DSO 0SE_VE (Business Content). There are too fields for Vendor:

1) 0GN_VENDOR

2) 0SR_VEGUID__0VENDOR (Attribute of InfoObject 0SR_VEGUID)

What is difference between these two fields?

I have a question regarding the transformation to DSO 0SE_VE. The target InfoObject 0SR_VEGUID (Assessment GUID) is mapped with Source Field 0WS_TAROBJ (Recipients). Is this correct?

Does anybody have experience with it?

Hi Moha,

If 0WS_DATA_1 is a 7.0 datasource then you can connect it directly to the DSO using a transformation there

is no requirement to use the infosource.
