SQL Anywhere 17 - What is suitatble Licensing model in migration from SQL Anywhere5?

I have been assigned to migrate small size Databases SQL Anywhere 5 to Anywhere 17. I visited to SAP store and found multiple licensing models and I'm not sure the right one to choose

https://www.sapstore.com/solutions/99017/SAP-SQL-Anywhere-%28v17%29

We have local developments which need local databases, concurrent users are about 20+-. from my reading, I'm targeting to

"SAP SQL Anywhere, Edge Edition, workgroup version (core),is an entry-level offering that provides a base level.."

Please help to guide me
1.Is it the most suitable Anywhere17 DBMS licensing model on my requirements?
2.We will setup DBMS on local server and configure programs connect from clients (legacy client/server), Do I need additional SQL Anywhere license to buy with,
Thank you,
Bamrung

Thanks Sawa for your replying & giving info

We use Windows and not use the advance features, so your replying info has confirmed to me choosing the right edition "Edge Edition, workgroup version (core)"

We are budgeting to purchase new V17 lic (my asking here to get confirmation from experts that I'm going to purchase the right/optimum edition)

Thanks again.

Hello Bamrung,

To select which edition to use, please see this page:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SQLANY/SAP+SQL+Anywhere+Editions

If you will not use UNIX platform, options such as HA, in-memory mode, read-only scale out, and the number of cores are max 8, then perhaps Edge/workgroup would be fine for your environment. If the number of named users changes frequently, you may want to chose core licensing model because it does not have to count the number of named users.

If there is no active maintenance agreement for the v5 in use, there is no right to use version 17. You need to purchase new licenses for v17.

Sawa
