SOLDOC - Issue while uploading a document (using OpenText as document server)

Dear Experts,

We have migrated to 7.2 - now I can open the existing documents (word, excel, text) but I cannot add new or update existing documents.

While adding new document, I select the path of the document then the next screen with title "Upload New Document" is displayed (this screen is to define attributes like document name, description, type, status, priority, ....). This screen gets stuck and there is no solution except to close the browser. SolMan is connected to document server OpenText which is repository for storing the documentation - connection between SolMan and OpenText is tested ok.

Appreciate if you can suggest what could be the cause?

Hello,

Please make sure you configured the external content server integration for OpenText.

You can find the instructions at: SOLMAN_SETUP -> Process Management -> 4.3Use External Content Server for Document Storage.

Yes, that setup was done.

Finally the issue was identified as communication issue between OpexText and SolMan via HTTP protocol and

with SAPHTTPA TCPIP connection.
