The background is that a newly developed [Segmentation Model] module has added [Attribute Group:] and a series of [Attributes]. The problem is:
Inadvertently, a portion of the tested [Attribute Group:] and [Attribute] were included in the TR. Of course, the naming of the tested content ended in TEST. After troubleshooting through TR CODE in SE09, it was found that the Segmentation Object recorded many table names. After reviewing the details, it was impossible to distinguish whether it was a normal function or a tested function, such as:
Is there a good way to identify the
Data Sources, Attribute Groups, can reflect specific names instead of * signs
To prevent similar problems from occurring in the future
In addition, if the above errors occur, how to remedy them and find the corresponding records in the deleted related tables?
Hi Lester Lee,
In general, SAP Marketing only supports transporting complete segmentation objects. If you transport a segmentation object, this transport will also include all attribute groups, assigned data sources, attributes, etc. belonging to this segmentation object.
If you want to remove test attributes in production, the recommended way would be to clean-up the affected segmentation object in your source system, and transport it again to production.
Manipulating the tables directly would not be recommended. The content of the tables GSEG_X_OT* is transported, and after import the so called runtime tables (GSEG_OT*) are filled from the GSEG_X_OT* tables (and from potential SAP delivered content). The runtime tables are relevant when using the segmentation UI.
Not sure if this helps. Feel free to ask for more details in case something is open.
Thanks & regards,
Sebastian
