Scheduling issue with Default Enterprise location

Former Member

We have scheduled a report as PDF format with Default enterprise location and the schedule is success.

But when try to open the PDF success instance , we are getting "404 - file or directory not found error".

We are getting this issue only for PDF as output format. The same is working for excel, webi as output format when destination is selected as "Default Enterprise location".

Note: The pdf output format is working for other destination "Email, Sharepath"

it looks like you have a write access problem on your "Output File Repository Server" on the "default Enterprise Server".

Default Enterprise Location

The scheduled job will run on the Output File Repository Server (FRS). You do not need to set additional options for this destination. Historical instances are saved to the default Enterprise server but not to any other destination.

Are you able to schedule the report as pdf to a file system or to a shared location? can you try that? What happens with other formats when you schedule the same report?

When scheduling the report to any other location, the pdf is working.

The issue only exist when we select the default destination location . Even though the schedule is success, when we click the success instance we are getting this error.
