SAPSCRIPTS Form not printing ascii characters for RS GS and EOT

In SAPSCRIPTS Form, we used <30>, <29> and <04> to print the control characters RS, GS and EOT on a Datamatrix label.

The characters came out as # during print preview and scanning. And when we debug, we get this message below. Please advise a solution to this?

SAP character "030" is not defined in the current font COURIER 120

You mention scanning so I guess you are trying to encode these characters into a bar code. With the "New bar code technology" the \c029\; \c030\; etc. entries would solve the issue with the special characters.

A formal description about the "New bar code technology" can be found in SAP Note
