While testing the BAPI SDK (with basic auth) in SAP Process Automation in my free-tier account
I have found the following bug
If you set an environment variable for your user password and set the type to be password instead of string
this is to pass your user password as an environment variable to the BAPI SDK (basic auth)
the authentication failed, however if I hardcode the password in the automation it works
here is the error
thanks
alex
Hello,
If think you found a bug I invite you to open a ticket under BPI-PA component as SPA entry point if you do not know exactly to which area it is linked to. In the topic you are mentionning it is linked to an automation so it will remain with the historical component: CA-ML-IPA
Please add more detalis to the tickets such as how you made it work and of course which SDK version you are using 🙂
Have a good day
