SAP Logon Pad

Dear Gurus,

I have installed SAPGUI710. I clicked on 'New Item' in SAP Logon Pad and gave a description and then the server name, System ID and System Number. it accepted and I was able to click 'Next' and then 'Finish'. I was able to login SAP BI systems.

I had to delete this item as I got a new server name. I followed the same steps and now the 'Next' and 'Finish' buttons remain disabled. I cannot click them to go to the next screen. I canclled it and tried with the previous server name just to see if that works. Still the 'Next' and 'Finish' remain disabled.

I tried to uninstall and then re-install it, that still remian so. Is this a known issue. Please guide as it is urgent.

Hi,

Find your saplogon.ini file under windows folder than you can edit how you want.

Hi,

The mandatory fields are :

Application server, System No and Sytem ID.

As soon as these fields are maintained, the option for NEXT and Finish should be enabled.

Probably, your ini file must have got corrupted. If you are re-installing the GUI, please delete the SAP folder as well from C:\Programfiles.

After installation, restart the system and try.
