I created my account in SAP CAL and am using SAP IDES.
It works mostly fine but I have 3 big problems with it:
- in SE80 developing webdynpro components I cannot see
the layout nor the web elements and cannot run the application in the browser. I get the typical blank page with "page not displayed".
- the graphical screen painter is not working. It just displays the text-based
screen painter.
- after a short time (of inactivity?) it just doesn´t work and triggers the
error message "connection to partner xx.xxx.xxx.xx not reached", so I
have to log on again.
I´ve searched a lot in SDN but the answers are old
(Mini SAP), inconsistent or incomplete, does not help and, in the case of SAP GUI
7.40, I cannot download the software because of lack of valid account at SAP
Marketplace.
Why does SAP deliver software that is not working
properly?? and the most important: why there is no documentation on how to
solve the issues??
