SAP GUI too slow when logged in with language DE

Dear all,

when I log in to SAP GUI with German as the language, every thing is very slow and sometimes the screen hangs and I need to log in with English. I've tried it on different ECC and BW servers.

GUI version 7.5 Patch 9

Netweaver 7.5

Could you please help me to find the root cause?

Hi,

Could you please let know if facing slowness in running t-codes? Was there any recent changes, is there some dumps regarding this? Could you try run SGEN & let us know the outcome

Hi,

The slow performance is especially visible in RSA1 in BW but almost all the other forms have the same problem.

And about SGEN, which of the tasks shall I choose?

Hi Parvaneh Farzanegan,

Since you mentioned in multiple areas, I would suggest to SGEN --> "Generate all objects of selected components" --> Select all components --> Continue --> Continue with all the instances --> trigger the SGEN job. This is a very basic SAP BASIS scenario, so i would suggest you to talk to your SAP-BASIS team for this task.

If this slowness occurs at a particular time, then need to check if all work-processes are consumed at that particular time & shared memory is already occupied at that time
