SAP Forms Service by Adobe with WebUI S/4HANA

Hello,

We are implementing the Grantor Management solution from SAP on the S/4 system. This solution foresees in several user interfaces for the end-user:

• Web User Interface (based on FIORI 3.0)
• Fiori apps

The Fiori apps for Grantor are not official native Fiori apps but are more WCF kind of apps (WEBCUIF).

During the process of handling the Grantor transactions is creating output (correspondence) that is send to the customer. So for this, the user should be able to generate a document (brief/letter) that is retrieving data from the S/4 back end and pre-fill the document.

Once the document is created by the system, the user should be able to edit this document before sending it to the customer.For this process of creating and editing documents we would like to propose SAP Forms by Adobe since we were told this is the future-proof solution provided by SAP for this purpose.

The Grantor solution is not new, it was already released years ago on SAP CRM system. This SAP CRM system user interface was called the CRM WebClient.
In the past we had several discussions with SAP regarding the possibility to use SAP Forms by Adobe with the SAP CRM WebClient. It was then determined that this would not work due to old techniques in SAP CRM and it would only work with S/4HANA.

Now since Grantor is now running on S/4HANA we would like to know if it is now possible to use SAP Forms by Adobe with the Web User interface (based on FIORI 3.0) and/or the Fiori apps (WCF type of Fiori apps)?

Why we would like to position SAP Forms by Adobe in combination with Grantor is because of the capabilities of the SAP Forms solution:

• Create interactive forms that look exactly like their paper counterparts.
• Annotate PDF documents and collaborate on PDF document reviews.
• Capture data using forms and import the data directly into the SAP system.
• Allow users to digitally sign PDF documents.
• Embed other file formats inside PDF documents as attachments.

So the question we have is, is it possible to use SAP Forms by Adobe in combination with the Web User Interface and/or Fiori apps for Grantor on S/4HANA?
