SAP Build process automation live content - maintaining decisions

Hello Experts.

We are using SAP Process automation live content in our project. That content brings in a Workflow , UI based applications and decision rules. However, we are facing issues when it comes to maintainence of decision rules:

Whenever we are making modification to decision rules, We have to release the version and once the version reaches for eg : 3.0.X, It does not allow us to release the version further.

Questions that i do have here:

  • Is releasing the version is the correct way of using decision rules for maintaining values of decision for these pre-activated live processes?
  • What can be done if we release a stage as maximum version has reached. I assume decision can be changed N number of times and there should not be a control to stop making new changes.

Can any one tell me if you had faced similar issues and work around way of handling it.

Thanks

Tirthankar

You can have maximum of 10 versions of a Rules project at a time. You have to delete some of the old versions when your number of versions go beyond.

You can create up to ten different versions of your project. from documentation

I managed to fugure this out few days back. Also, playing too much with these business rules abt deleting versions and creating new ones are giving strange responses.
