SAP BTP Integration Suite - Managed Gateway for Spend & Network - Value Mapping

Hi Team, Our SAP Ariba solution is integrated to SAP S/4 HANA through CIG. Now we are trying to connect using SAP BTP – Integration Suite - SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA Integration with SAP Ariba (Managed Gateway for Spend and Networks). We have followed the below steps in SAP BTP Integration Suite and we are still not able to see any transactions passing through.

1. Cloud Connector set up is complete and the backend SAP S/4 HANA shows in the SAP BTP

2. Uploaded the Certificate of CIG under Monitor – KeyStore

3. Provided the Communication User and the PUser of CIG with passwords under Manage – Security Material

4. Deployed SOAP Synchronous Pass Through Content for Ariba Procurement directly as there are no changes required in the flow.

5. Value mapping provided are as follows,

a. Ariba, ANID = ECC, ANIdentifier //given ANID of buyer account in both sides

b. Ariba, SystemID = S4HANA, Address // LHS = >SystemID of SAP, RHS =>Virtual hostname and port of SAP S/4 HANA which was given in Cloud Connector

c. Ariba, SystemID = S4HANA, Credentials // LHS => SystemID of SAP given, RHS =>Communication user

d. S4HANA, CIGAuth = Ariba, Credentials // LHS =>Communication user, RHS =>PuserID

Deployed the same and could see the below in SAP BTP.

However, when we click on Monitor message processing, we do not find any transactions posted from Ariba. We tried posting few from Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution and it was not showing up here. Please let us know whether we are missing any configuration. Appreciate your response. Thanks.

azmathip Thank you for response. We are trying the connection via SAP BTP and it would be great if there is a blog/document that shows how this can be tested/traced/tracked in SAP BTP, more importantly something on the Value mappings available in SAP BTP.

ivan.mirisola Thank you Ivan for your response. We already have existing working integration between SAP Ariba Solution - CIG - Cloud Connector - SAP S/4 HANA. Add on for SAP S/4 HANA for CIG, Cloud connector related Sub account configuration, CIG related project set up and cross references are available. Even Transactions are passing through without any issues. Now we are trying to use SAP BTP Integration Suite - Managed Gateway for Spend and Networks. So, may be the integration is like Ariba - BTP (CIG) - Cloud connector - SAP S/4 HANA. We are unable to find any documentation in help sap or connect Ariba which explains how this switch can happen and all the documents were specific to plain CIG integration not via SAP BTP Integration Suite. We have taken a free tier SAP BTP account, Configured the same in Cloud connector where SAP S/4 HANA related information are also captured. Now the same shows up in BTP without any issues, which is fine. Used the P User ID of CIG, Communication User of SAP S/4 HANA as well in BTP in the value mappings. But in the SAP BTP - Integration Suite, the transactions are not passing through. If there is a specific documentation or link that can help in this type of configuration specifically that explains on Value mapping part of SAP BTP Integration suite, that would be of great help.
