Sap Bods excel error -- The cells in excel has apostrophe before the number or text

Hi,

I have an excel as Input file. The cells in excel has apostrophe before the number or text.

After executing BODS job, the data in the table is null for these fields. Please let us know how to fix this issue.

Following is the excel error: 'The number in the cell is formatted as text or preceded by apostrophe'

Could you please provide a screenshot of what you see in the target table, in my case i can load the data to the target and view it as expected.

Are you loading the apostrophe to the target table as well, or is it something you can can get rid of and load the characters that follow afterwards.
