SAP Analytics Cloud - Grid Lines in Chart Widgets

Hi everyone,

i can't belive that i'm asking this question, but is really no grid-line functionality for charts in SAC?

I know that i could use r-visualizations, but that's not really a solution.

I'm really looking forward to your answers and or workarounds.

firstly, do not tell me, but for what purposes do you need a grid? it is usually customary, on the contrary, to get rid of it or make it completely "background"
p.s. there is smth like this in the timeseries chart ((but in the standard and without customization))

I already thought about the time-series chart, but this doesnt help cross year comparisons on the periods

The thing about the grid lines is, that they are quite useful if you're really going to export/print the contents of the dashboard.

But I totally understand that in a dynamic visualization you might want to get rid of distracting stuff like grid lines.
