SAC - Dimension Member Conditional formatting

Hi,

I have a scenario as below.

My table has a column 'Start date'. If the start date is within last 7 days, I need to style it in a different font and color.

Is it possible in SAC Story or in SAC Analytics Application?

I have tried 'Styling Rules' option in Styling panel. But unable to give any specific conditions.

Hi sarathms1,

You need to add calculation for number of days as first step. Once you have that info at the story level you can use Conditional Formatting and Assigning Colors to Dimension Members.

Here is an example of Conditional Formatting with icons, you can change it to cell color as well.

Note: At this moment you can highlight measure/ accounts only.

At this moment SAC do not allow highlighting dimension members based on a measure (in this case number of days). Feel free to vote on this enhancement request

Thank you Debjith. The information is very useful.

So, this means there is no direct functionality available as of now to dynamically change the dimension member styles based on the dimension member values (not based on measure/account values).

If the requirement is to get the 'latest start date' from the table, and highlight all the dates which fall within the last 7 days from the latest start date, it seems to be not possible as of now.

this is know. limitation for now. you can highlight measures or calculated fields for now. Vote on the enhancement.
