SAC Allocation script - specific case for a dimension member that didn't exist in last year's actual

Hi all,

I doubt a specific case scripting in advanced formulas for an allocation. My basic allocation process is working.
This is a volume planning scenario (for location and Material) where selling volume is planned for next year, and I have to allocate this planned volume to different Salesmen, based on their past year's actual weight of volume sold for each location and each material.

The problem comes when I have to allocate a planned volume for a material in a specific location that has none volume sold in the previous year so that the basis calculation will assign 0 in the planned volume allocation.

Here is the planned volume for 2025, which comes without salesmen assigned:

This is the result after the basic allocation script process:

This is the script I wrote on advanced formulas:

My initial approach about it was to calculate each salesmen weight for total volume sold last year in that location, and apply those weights to the new material planned in that same location. How would you script this or which would be your approach? I have failed on my attempts to script it.

Thank you so much in advance.

The riddle to solve is what do you do when there are no allocation weights for the material either due to 0 sales previous year or its a new product. One approach we took for a similar problem was use of reference material. So generally there is always a reference material in the material group whose weights could be used. You can ask the business as what would be an accurate weights for a missing allocation weight. In my experience its either a reference material in the group or weight of the material group as a whole or equal weights.
