Roles required for change manger, developer, tester in charm

Hi All,

I'm in the process of implementing the CHARM in our landscape and I have to provide the necessary roles to change manger, developer, tester, It administrator.

As per the security guide, assigned the roles for the above users. But when I tried to launch the Solman_Workcenter to access the tile "Change and release manager" with above users (eg: change manger for approval process and other steps),I'm getting the error when I try to launch sm_crm : You are not authorised to user transaction sm_crm

Please help to share the roles to assign to above user specific (change manger , developer, tester, IT administrator)

Hello Satish,

Check in solman_setup, under Change Control Management, Change Request Management, look for step

Define Settings for Template user.

Create these template users to see the roles assigned to each of them. All of them will have authorization to call transaction sm_crm.

Did you try converting the roles to customer name space like Z.

You can also try what Dolores advised.
