Or do more than one SLT Server make sense ?

Hi Achim ,

when you using more then one LT Landscape then you will need different triggers on Source System.

This could be an impediment dependent if you want to put this burden to your source system. If the Source/Target Systems are different then it depends. But when same Source needs to be replicated to multiple Targets you should think rater about one SLT Landscape and higher sizing/power then 2 or more SLT systems.
