Process Automation: Capital Expenditure Approval Process deployment error: no match for node version

Hello,

I was following this tutorial on SAP Build Process Automation. During the deployment of the live process I am encountering the following error.

Upon further inspection I realized that the error is related to the deployment of the CAP service. The BTP logs suggest that the required node version is not available anymore.

To my knowledge we don't have any way to modify the deployed app. How should I proceed in this situation, or is there something I could do to solve this issue?

Thank you,

Best regards,
Atakan

Note: I believe I have all the necessary subscriptions, service instances/keys and destinations in my subaccount.

Hi @a_oezsoy,

Open the package.json and review the nodeJS version there. Apparently, there is no support for version 16. So all you need to do is switch to version 18 instead.

Best regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Thank you for your response.

If I were the one that was deploying the application, your suggestion would have been valid. However, the issue arises from a tutorial about importing a "Live Process" from SAP Build Process Automation Store (please check the link from the original post). The step from the tutorial doesn't really allow any user interaction besides clicking an "Add" button. Everything else that comes after that (the deployment of the CAP application) is automated.

Please let me know if you know any way of changing the node version of the app in this process, or of any other solution you can think of.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Atakan

Hi Atakan,

I didn't really read the tutorial you were referring to. Sorry about that.

In that case, then I would strongly suggest you to open a support ticket in SAP so they can ask the team responsible for the template to fix it.

Best regards,
Ivan
