HANA XSA Password reset self service

Hi,

We have implemented password reset self service in HANA XS classic (XSC) using below help guides. Using Forgot user password Developers can be reset their password.

We would like to implement password reset self service in HANA XS Advanced. Could you help me if standard guide / Steps for implementing password reset self service in HANA XSA . this will help end users(Developers) reset password on their own without HANA Administrators help.

Hi Sampath,

XS Advanced / Cloud Foundry uses the UAA service which relies on an identity provider for authentication.

Default IdP for SAP BTP is SAP ID services and for SAP HANA platform, the database but any SAML-compliant IdP can be used (e.g. Microsoft Azure or AD). Password self-service is a common feature for these IdP's.
