We are now using our first Multi-Source universe. It had been going well however I'm now seeing odd behavior and I'm having difficulty troubleshooting it. BI Platform 4.2. sp06; 2 clustered servers each with a Data Federation APS.
As user had web intelligence reports that were run and populated with data. However, now it seems hit and miss when she tries to refresh them. They'll just spin/hang one time and work another. I've given the DF APS 6 GB in the server config. I've started to study/review the System Parameters that can be modified in the DF Admin Tool however it's difficult to know which parameter(s) will have the most impact.
I wondering if there's any low hanging fruit or widely used setting configurations that I can start with. All of our single universes work great. This is only issue we're having is related to the multi-source universe.
