Analysis for MS Office - Support for MS Office 2021

Dear Community

Today, SAP Analysis for MS Office, supports officially the following MS Office version: Microsoft Office 2013, Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 2019 and Office 365.

With the recent release, we are wandering if we could benefit from the new evolutions/features offered by MS Office 2021.

Since the AO PAM is not mentioning anything regarding the MS Office 2021, we have done a test to see if the current version of AO we run (2.8 SP06) is working with MS Office 2021.

The answer is YES, but we are not sure about the support from SAP. Somebody closer to PM - Analysis Office could help us with this query?

For your information, the MS Excel (Office) 2021 is supported for AFO 2.8.

We have a small goup of user who are using AO with Office 2021 for past couple of weeks, without any issue. I think it is safe to assume that next SP will document 2021 as well.

If you want to reach out the product support group then going via support incident may be quicker.
