National character set Oracle

Dear SAP Support,

I prefer to leave the parameter NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET to AL16UTF16 in the destination database where the import is done.

Is there any problem in migrating this database with this configuration (source database and destination database with NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET to AL16UTF16)?

Dear Customer,

The supported National character set for non-Unicode systems is UTF8 (even if its an ABAP system).

So we do not recommend leaving the character set AL16UTF16.
