Missing Report Upload Wizard on SAP CR 2016 SP9

Hi,

I just installed SAP Crystal Report Server 2016 SP9 on my server in cloud platform and noticed that there is no Report Upload Wizard tools which I had it auto installed as part of SAP Crystal Report Server 2016 SP4 in older server. I tried to reinstall and same outcome. Kindly advise on how to get Report Upload Wizard installed.

Dear All,

Please install SAP Crystal Reports 2016 designer on your local machine. This is part of your package for SAP Crystal Server 2016 (user).
During the installation select "Features" and tick the box next to Report Upload Wizard.

Hi Dominik,

I installed Crystal Report Designer 2016 SP9 in my new server as your suggestion, and choose Typical as install type which is complete installation. But there was no Report Upload Wizard executable file or feature added. When I choose Custom as install type, under select "Features" there are only Crystal Report Designer and Data Access. I have located Report Upload Wizard executable file in old server (CR2016 SP4) it was under C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86. Same path in the new installed server (CR2016 SP9) did not have Report Upload Wizard executable file and dll.

note: SAP Crystal Report Server 2016 installation type is Full which is also complete installation.

Does this feature depend on license key/license type we purchased? I migrated with the same license we have though.

Hi Dominik,

Thank you for the answer, I'm the poster of this question. I don't have the Report Upload Wizard in Start menu and there is no Report Upload Wizard exe file in the installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\ unlike in my older server.
