Hi All,

I am getting error while installing SAP-J2EE Engine at phase 2(SAP System Installation).

the logs are :

MOS-01218 Unable to register SAP snap-in in the MMC.

Thanks alot.  Unlike most posts on this site, your solution worked and you told everyone how to do it.  10/10 from me.

There is nothing worse than some of the posts that have a comment such as "I have solved the problem" without showing the solution.  This is a place for sharing and if you want to keep your IP to yourself then why come here?  (Sorry to be so blunt).

Have taken appropriate SAP.MMC folder and copied it to System files

Hi All,

The solution is not clearly mentioned any where here.

Best Solution:

The best ways is to download the latest SAPMMC.SAR file from the Service market place.

uncar it, then execute the below file.

sapmmc_<some number>.msi

just retry the installation.

Based on your release download the relevant patches

Try to register the R/3 MMC Snap-in again using regsvr32 sapmmc.dll.

Please, refer to SAP note 354595
