We have received the error below which terminated our infopackage process within the process chain within our APO BW.
We understand that you can navigate through BW Scheduler menu option EXTRAS / RESTRICT NUMBER OF SELECTION CONDITIONS and untick the "More than 1000 selection for selection fields are not permitted" option. We have unticked this option and the process is now completing successfully. We would however like to understand the behavior after unticking this box.
- Does it merely suppress the error and allow the process to complete
- Does it still have the restriction but truncate the selection, limiting to just 1000 selections meaning incomplete slection
- Does it extend the ability of the system so it can work with the entire 1000 selections + the number of selections that are in excess of the 1000 indicated limit. In other words complete the selection completely

Diagnosis
The default maximum number of single selections or selection areas allowed for an InfoPackage is 1000. Your InfoPackage is trying to run more than 1000 selections (0000001001 selections have been found).
System Response
In this BW Release a maximum of 1000 selections is allowed for new InfoPackages.
