Loading master data to SAC from BW4

Hi experts,

We are creating a planning model in SAP Analytics Cloud. The actual and reference data as well as the master data is being loaded from BW/4HANA 2.0.

Regarding the master data we want to integrate several dimensions (0COSTCENTER, 0COSTELMNT, 0GL_ACCOUNT, ...) and we want to avoid loading of old and/or crap elements. For example, in the 0COSTELMNT we only want to load the elements below the P&L Hierarchy that we already have in a BW hierarchy of the infobject.

Selecting the desired hierarchy, If we filter in the data selection like this...

When a element that has been for a time inside the main node (0HIER_NODE) change to the node of element not assigned (1HIER_REST), SAC doesn't know that and don't update the hierarchy for that element. It means that this element remains in the main node in a wrongly way.

If we select both hierachy nodes like this...

Automatically we are loading all the old and crap elements in SAC, and it is what we want avoid.

Is there any option in SAC to manage this? Has anybody found in this situation?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Víctor

Hi victor.sales,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. The sceenshot you attached is only for fitlering the members by selecting a hierarchy node. In your case, you only need to select 0HIER_NODE/COARAMES2 .

To load heirachy at the same, you just need to select hierarchy from upper part of the screen, then you should be able to map the parent collumn to SAC parent property.

Best regards, William

Hi William,

The selection of the hierachy and its levels is already done. The screenhosts I shared are done before it, when I filter by hierarchy node.

The point is that I want to filter the elements and nodes only from 0HIER_NODE/COARAMES2 node and I'd like to update the node assignments for the elements that starts beeing inside of this node and a time after change to the other node 1HIER_REST/REST_H. The filter doesn't select this second node and then the parent of this element isn't updated accordingly.
