Link Business objects and excel to grab report and load data into excel

Hello,

Im trying to create a query or something that will pull data into a tab in excel. It would save me a step in having to run the report weekly and export it to excel. Is there a way for excel to automatically grab the data from that report?

you cannot run query in Excel to pull data from existing webi report as the report is not a database.

However, if you use Live Office or Analysis for Office products from SAP you can run queries against universes or link with webi reports parts from Excel itself, without need to run report first or login into bilaunchpad.
