-Where I work I created a 4X5 size label to print on a ZebraZT230 printer.
-However, the roll of paper has two 4x5 size labels side by side.
- When I print a desired amount, the print only comes out on one of the labels, leaving one blank (in this case, the print only comes out on the label on the left side and the label on the right side is blank).
I already got around this problem by setting the project layout size to 4x10 and mirroring the image in crystal reports so that it was printed on both labels, but this way I always print labels two by two since the image comes out mirrored. (for example if I want 10 labels I request 5 prints that will correspond to 10 since it comes out mirrored).
-In the zebra designer program there is the option of printing lines and columns that make the printer know how to distribute the prints. I would like to know if in Crystal reports there is this option to distribute the printing in lines and columns or some way that I can do so that the amount that I request is printed (working correctly if I requested 3 prints, 2 labels would be printed side by side and two more side by side only one blank) and so on regardless of the quantity I request
Go to File >> New >> Mailing Label Report. This will give you a wizard that will help you configure labels so that you're printing two-across (even though they're not "mailing" labels.)
