Issue with Blocked Task List Runs in BW/4 HANA Migration - Seeking Solution

Hi all,

I am seeking guidance for a challenge we are facing during our migration to BW/4 HANA. We have encountered an issue with blocked task list runs, which were partially executed but cannot be completed. In an attempt to resolve this, I manually completed one of these runs in order to be able to delete it. However, now I am unable to delete it as the system insists it must be completed first, despite it already being manually completed. Further execution is also not possible since it's marked as completed.

This has become a critical issue as the blocked run is locking objects that need to be migrated. Is there a way to either properly complete or delete this run so that we can proceed with our migration? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jonas, are you migrating via Shell or Remote? Usually you can finalize or delete the task list run which is not needed. Maybe you can share the error message/screenshot.

Thank you for your response. We are conducting an InPlace migration. The issue we're facing is with a specific task list run that cannot be finalized, even though it has already completed most of its steps. In an attempt to address this, we manually closed the run with the intention of deleting it. However, we are now in a situation where we can neither delete the run (as the system still perceives it as active) nor restart it (since it's been manually closed).
