Is menu role mandatory for mdg users?

Hi,

I am customizing mdg roles requester, steward, approvar roles and creating composite roles based on the business requirement. do i need to assign menu role along with other roles to the users. Is menu role mandatory? Also please let me know the best role design in mgd. we are using mdg 8.0

Good day.

The role configuration is actually based on the real business requirement you have according to the different authorization/usages of the roles.

From the following like you may find a detail description of each roles in MDG-M.

You may consider to assign the corresponding role to the user accordingly.

Menu role is not mandatory to be assigned along with other roles. But you should consider the authorization objects within each role.
