Which service pack of Crystal are you running? Version "14" could be anything from Crystal 2011 through Crystal 2020. Depending on the full version, the driver you're using may not be supported, but I need more info to be able to tell you for certain.

See this Supported platforms:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/SAP+Crystal+Reports+-+Supported+Platforms

Click on CR version you are using and then another link to download an Excel file with support MS SQL Clients.

If you are using CR version 14.0 you need to upgrade to the latest SP from here to be able to use recent MS SQL Clients:

The best way to make sure that the Crystal Reports work with the MSOLEDBSQL driver is to make sure that the database is configured correctly. You may need to update the connection string in the Crystal Report to include the correct credentials and database information. You may also need to download the latest version of the MSOLEDBSQL driver and install it on the machine where the Crystal Reports are running.
