Integrating ECC to Ariba CIG via SAP PI 7.4

Hello,

I have got a project where I need to integrate ECC to Ariba CIG via PI middleware, there are multiple outbound interface from ECC and inbound interfaces from ARIBA.

ECC--PI--CIG (outbound)

CIG--PI--ECC (inbound)

Can any one help me in detailing a brief end to end scenario on how I can integrate this outbound and inbound interfaces via PI (version 7.4 single stack)

I also want to understand that what for this integration should i need to get the CIG add on to PI ESR??, what channel will I need to establish between Pi and Ariba CIG & also are there any certificates or keys involved?? if yes then where I should i get them and which all system I should deploy them.

PS: the SAP ECC system is 4.7 so we are creating custom IDoc to implement the scnearios.

Any kind of leads will be very helpful.

Thank you so much for helping in Advance.

Hi Yvan,

There is standard ESR content provided by Ariba which you need to import in PI and configure the required interfaces. The connection with CIG portal is usually done using SOAP adapter, therequired URL's you can get from the portal.

For Outbound: ECC--PI--CIG (outbound): CIG certificates need to be installed inTrustedCA you can get these certificates from the CIG portal.

For Inbound: CIG--PI--ECC (inbound) : As far as i know no need of any certificate installation, however, you need to configure the PI's SOAP channel sender URL in CIG portal.

As a first step i would suggest you to check the CIG Installation and configuration guide which is available in ariba portal: connect.ariba.com

Thanks,

Manoj

Hi Manoj,

Do you have a documentation for the CIG - PI - ECC documentation guide?

Thank you!
