Installation error while installing Solution manager 7.2 SR1 AS ABAP on 16.0.03.08 HF1 RDBMS

Dear Experts,

I am installing Solman 7.2 Sr1 AS ABAP on SAP ASE 16.0.03.08 HF1 RDBMS Windows Server on x64 64bit. I am encountered with error at 26 Percent of the installation as below.

Below is the error that i found in sapinst.log file.

Also i have attached sapinst & sapinst_dev log files for more information. Kindly  help me to resolve the same.

Hi Prashant,

What is the version of the windows server?

Can you execute the following in command prompt. Do you get some exes or error message?

wmic process get executablepath

According the log the wmic.exe is missing.

Further thoughts: I would try with newer SWPM (current PL is 32) and newer Kernel e.g. 7.53.

Hi,

I was able to resolve it as below with the help from SAP.

As per SAP I have to set two variable user variable and system variable in windows to path as below.

Please take a login with the same user who is running the installation and set above two paths with
the value given below.
C:\Windows\System32\wbem after that just take a restart and run below commands.

C:\Users\SAP>where WMIC 
above command should give output as below.
C:\Windows\System32\wbem\WMIC.exe

Now resume the installation
