IH01 in FIORI vs GUI

Dear Colleagues,

Trying to execute the transaction IH01 on GUI to display the Functional Location Structure: Structure List , which has 73 K items. Got the result after very long time.

When executed the same transaction in FIORI app it result in time out with the error

"HTTP_OUT_OF_EMGLOBAL_MEMORY" . The dump is showing that the system tried to send the data which is 3 GB and the maximum size of abap/alvgrid/size_nodod_MB is already set to 1 GB ( which is maximum)

The parameter controlling that amount of data allowed to be sent (abap/alvgrid/size_nodod_MB) is already at its maximum

• Is it possible that Fiori can not handle the data what is handled by GUI ?
• Is there way to optimize this ?

Extended Memory are also set to accommodate this data

Can you please tell us if IH01 in the Fiori Launchpad is also calling the transaction with Web GUI (ITS) or is it a SAPUI5 Application using an OData Service?

Hi Gregor,

Thanks for the response - IH01 in the Fiori Launchpad is also calling the transaction with Web GUI (ITS). This looks like SAP Wb GUI limitation as ITS will not allow more than a 1 GB data.
