We have a unique issue in SAP PO 7.5, IDOCs stay in delivering status say for example ORDERS.ORDERS05 IDOC which has about 66 line items (not too much). This idoc when sent to ECC via an IDOC receiver channel, IDOC reaches SAP ECC and stays in status 64. Until ECC processes the idoc and changes the status to 53, In PO status of the message remains in "Delivering status", Ideally the message is Asynchronous and should be changed to delivered. We do not even have Queue processing enabled and the partner profile has a setting of trigger immediately. Why is the status in PO as "delivering" and other messages go to Hold? Can any one guide on what settings should be made in SAP PO? /ECC so that IDOC processing is pure asynchronous irrespective of what status it remains in ECC, PO should have status as delivered.
We even have increased the thread count for IDOC to 15/20.
