Hello everyone,
I want a "report" which simply prints a number on a label maker. So all I want is to print the one details section.
However, when I preview, I see one final, empty page. It seems to be the page footer. Even though it is suppressed, it always prints on after the last record.
Does anybody know how I can prevent that?
Print "Details" and nothing else.
Best regards
Alex
Hello Dell,
I found the issue in another place. Kind of feels like a bug....
I formatted the Details section to be the same height as the report page. It seems that there needs to be some space "left" for the page footer *even* if the page footer is empty.
If there is not a tiny space left for the page footer, a new page will be created with nothing but a line.
Very strange.

Do you have "New Page After" turned on for the details section? If so, uncheck "New Page After" and put the following in the New Page After formula:
not OnLastRecord

Hello Dell,
"New page after" was not checked. There is also no generel "New page after" for the Details section. Only "end of section" or "visible datasets" (my version is in German and I cannot switch to English, so maybe the translation is off).
"New page after" is selected only for page footer and report footer. And neither can be unchecked of a formula entered.
That's the one thing I know of that would generate an extra page at the end. Since you don't have that checked, I would try making the report footer and page footer sections as small as possible even though they're suppressed in case Crystal is reserving space for them. If that doesn't work, what version of Crystal are you using? (Go to Help >> About and get the version number from there...)
