How to replicate BW4HANA authorisations into SAC when using import data connection.

Hi All,

I have a requirements to read BW4HANA query into SAP Analytics Cloud using 'Import connection' and want to replicate the BW4HANA query authorisation (e.g by plant).

I have checked, for live connection is working authorisation in SAC same as BW4HANA e.g. in BW, user A got access plant 1 and in SAC also can access only plant 1.

but I am not able to figure out how to implement when we use 'import connection'.

please help to advise.

sureshvuppagantiLive connection propogate the BW authorizations to SAC layer as the live model in SAC is just metadata, the actual data still resides in BW layer. In case of Acquired model, the data is persisted into the SAC model. You would need to design the Data Access control ( in model preferences) for the acquired model on same lines as BW authorizations.
