How to generate a BarcodeEAN13 in SAP Crystal Reports?

Hi Fellas,

I am new to SAP crystal reports and have been assigned a project. I am struggling to create a BARCODE EAN13 in SAP Crystal Reports.

I have searched on Google, but can't find an appropriate resource.

I don't know what formula to apply in the formula workshop. It says BarcodeEAN13 (Numeric String, Supplimental Bars). I am not sure what to enter.

On the field that has your number value right click on it and change format, under the Font tab select that font.

When previewed CR should show the barcode.

If it doesn't make sure the font is True Type, only one CR supports.

A quick Google search and it appears it's a Java class font so change the default UFL type in CR Options:

When I right-click on the text and select Format Text, it opens this screen that is different from yours. Options are not as same as yours.

Also, what is the full form of CR?

If you take a look at the Help for that formula, it has the information you're looking for. Unlike a lot of other software, the help for Crystal Reports is actually quite good and is my first stop when I'm looking for syntax for formulas.
