How to add a custom filter in a standard WebDynpro application in Fiori Launchpad

Hi SAP Community,

I have a requirement to add a custom filter parameter "RU Code" (Reporting Unit Code) to the standard WebDynpro app "Trial Balance" (F0996). The Trial Balance app (F0996A) was a Design Studio app before upgradation and now it has been deprecated in S4HANA 2022, and we had the Custom Filter "RU Code". After upgrading to S4HANA 2022, the successor app F0996 we are trying to add the Filter Parameter "RU Code" in the Launchpad Designer tool, but the app doesn't reflect the filter parameter in the app. Can someone please guide me here. Hello Amrit,

thank you for using the BICS Data Grid App based on FPM/WDA. The filter values depend on the Query Design of SAP_BW layer only, that means: If you see the filter in transaction RSRT, then you will see it also in the web application.

Hi Simon,

Appreciate your quick response. As you had suggested, I checked the query parameter "2CCFITRIALBALQ0001", and found the "RU Code" filter parameter available in the RSRT as shown in the first screenshot. But still the filter parameter "RU Code" is not visible in the adapt filter section of the Trial Balance application as shown in the 2nd screenshot. Can you please guide if I'm missing anything here.
